The mission of Jefferson Dollars for Scholars is to expand access to educational opportunities for Jefferson Parish Public School students through scholarships and academic support.

Founded in 1993, Jefferson Dollars for Scholars has awarded more than $9 million in scholarships to over 3,000 students. Our program has twice garnered national recognition as the Outstanding Chapter of Dollars for Scholars, the only chapter in 41 states to achieve such recognition.

Annual Fund Drive

Our Annual Fund Drive is the primary revenue source for all scholarships,  Businesses and individuals in the metro New Orleans area make the scholarships possible.  If you would like to donate, please go to our secure web donation site to the left.  Please contact us if you are interested in legacy giving, monthly donations, memorial gifts or honorary gifts. 

Endowment Fund

To assure the future of scholarships for generations to come, Jefferson Dollars for Scholars maintains a Scholarship Endowment Fund. This fund is steadily growing toward its $1 million goal.
